Professional Space:

​Clo is a Registered Professional Counsellor, group facilitator, published author and speaker. At times throughout her life, Clo has battled her own lived experience with anxiety and depression. These experiences led her to write Anxiety's Inner Voice: The Journey from Panic to Emotional Self-Acceptance. Through personal experience, she knows how deeply painful mental health issues can feel and how hard they can be to heal from. This unique perspective has informed her work as a therapist and a writer.

Clo first began her career in mental health as a group facilitator. She strived to create workshops that offered simple tools, and tips from the latest evidence-based therapeutic techniques. It became apparent that these key therapeutic concepts were having a profound effect on her clients. Clients reported amazing personal growth and a level of healing that they had not experienced before. Clo's wish for the blog is for it to be psychoeducational and for the reader to benefit from these tips and techniques in their own life.                                            

Personal Space:

I live, laugh and love in beautiful British Colombia. I love nothing more than writing and reading near the healing waters of the Pacific Ocean or the stunningly beautiful rivers and lakes of the Pacific North West. I have one amazing husband, two adult children who I am intensely proud of, and the love of my life...a mini husky named Jinx.

Professional Space:

Robby is a Registered Social Worker, Registered Therapeutic Counsellor and Expressive Arts Therapist. Blue Swan Counselling is her private practice which resides among the misty mountains of Chilliwack, BC. With her over 25 years of experience working with children, teens and adults in a variety of public service settings, it is in her practice daily that she is inspired by her client's resiliency, tenacity, and ability to heal. 

 

Personal Space:

I am an artist, optimist and true love believer. I love my husband, children, parents, friends, and dogs. I live to enjoy the sunshine, abstract painting, music, dancing, yoga, horses, oat mill lattes, movies, picking my grandmother's raspberries, the smell of fresh laundry and afternoons to myself in my studio.

 

It is my wish to share the therapeutic techniques I myself have found effective and to present them in an easily accessed platform so that others may find a path to healing and happiness.
